Due to the high power density, the dimensions of machines are significantly smaller than those of electro-mechanical drives. Hydraulic rotary drives are used in cases, where linear drives cannot be applicated due to the required strokes or other conditions.
Nevertheless in some cases depending on the requirement, an electrical drive may be the adequate solution.
